Socially awkward roommates Leonard Hofstader and Sheldon Cooper, along with their geeky co-workers Howard Wolowitz, a mechanical engineer, and Rajesh Koothrappali, an astrophysicist, all work at Cal Tech in Pasedena, California. foursome spend their time working on their individual work projects, playing video games, watching science fiction movies or reading comic books.
