Er well I guess I consider bigbangsheldon, sandandglass, poisontao, m-mchale, knockknockknock-penny-, rockpaperscissorslizardspock, and wickedlyworld my friends, even though I don’t think I’ve ever really talked to them before.
I adore their blogs though, and that counts enough to me.

yes, I know. If you go back to the post, it even says it’s photoshopped.
do I care? No. Cause Destiel.
I don’t think I’m the best person to say, but from what I remember, those with autism often stick to patterns and lack social skills, and tend to fixate on a certain subject and can be incredibly brilliant. Seeing as Sheldon does enjoy his patterns (such as his spot on the couch, making breakfast a certain way, scheduling bathroom time, etc.) and often cannot pick up on social cues (ie. not understanding sarcasm, trying to guess Penny’s emotions, etc.) combined with the fact that he’s had a love of science practically since he came out of the womb, I’d say that it’s entirely possible.
I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure he goes by Wil.
From a racial standpoint I don’t like it either. Nerds did not spend ages being enslaved or lynched, so I feel its a disservice and incredibly hurtful.
While it does take it’s crack at nerds and geek culture, I feel like saying it’s insulting is somewhat defensive. I don’t think I’d be considered a nerd, unless we’re talking about Harry Potter or history jokes, but a lot of comedy (and sitcoms in general) is laughing at and with the things it centers around. Comedy points out flaws and quirks and highlights them, just as this show does. I’m not saying that you’re not allowed to like or dislike it, just that I don’t think people watch the show so they can “watch nerds fail at being social” or whatever. People watch because they want to see if Penny and Leonard get together, if Howard goes up to space- they watch because they’ve grown to love and care about the characters. I think it’s a bit silly for people to get angry at others who watch Big Bang Theory, because being a nerd should be inclusive, not exclusive. If you really don’t like the show that much, then don’t watch it and don’t come to my Big Bang Theory blog.
